About Dragonfly
The Dragonfly in Clarence Street, Cheltenham, is always buzzing with a fashionable crowd. Combining the cosiness of a traditional English pub with fresh, authentic Thai cooking, this informal restaurant has become a popular place for celebrations and after-work cocktails. With brightly coloured silk cushions, wooden Oriental carvings and fresh flowers, the dining room has several private booths available. The menu offers various platters and five different ‘feast’ menus that are perfect for sharing. Inspired by a fusion of Asian flavours, favourite dishes include the fried whole sea bream with tamarind sauce, minced chicken with fresh mint, lemongrass, galangal and lime leaves, and the crispy aromatic duck pancakes with plum sauce.

Surprising busy for a January Wednesday and a nice atmosphere. Food good but service only average. Food arrived in a resonable time but by 9.00 the staff seemed to have disappeared. Overall I'd go again but wouldn't make a detour.

This is the second time we have been to the Dragonfly. I wanted to take my friends this time as we had such a fabulous time last time. We arrived early and were served quckly, however as more diners arrived the waitresses really struggled. They needed more staff. One of our starters were forgotton about and 2/4 cocktails we ordered were wrong and rather pathetic! The food was warm and took absoulutely ages to arrive. We were in there for 3 hours and not through choice! Ambience great, however.Review
Great attentive service, relaxed atmosphere, good menu with tasty food & good knowledge of wines. We really enjoyed our evening at Dragonfly.Visitors
