About Delanos
Everybody eats at Delanos all the time, so the ambience in this modern, warm restaurant is usually bubbling. The superb cocktail bar is roomy, just right for a pre-meal gathering, while the well-designed dining room forms the perfect backdrop for everything from an intimate tete-a-tete to a family feast. The menu is just as sophisticated and eclectic as the clientele:
start with Crabcakes on frisee with mango and red pepper salsa, followed by Mixed mushrooms on fettuccine with black peppercorn cream sauce, then a gorgeous Ribeye steak with chunky fries and a killer pud. Or skip it all and have a pizza, maybe with smoked salmon, anchovies, mussels and green peppers. See what we mean about sophisticated? Check it out for yourself!

Delanos - what a disappointment, we had to wait ¾ hour to be seated and then another ½ hr for our starter to arrive. The padding on the bench seating had collapsed so we ended up perched on the edge of our seats trying to eat our meal. When the main finally arrived, three were served at the same time and the 4th meal arrived 10 minutes later. The 4th meal consisted of a lump of fatty pork which was so tough you could have used it as a rugby ball. Overall - very disappionting

Not my first or last visit. The food is excellent & well presented. The decor is good & the background music is fantastic. I just feel its a bit pricey for a local restaurant. Worth a visit though.Review
Had dinner at Delanos on Saturday, good meal and friendly service, and the ambiance was fine. However, as it got later the bar became very noisy. I thought that it was very expensive for a local restaurant, £100 for two.Visitors
