Really lovely food, busy but not noisy atmosphere. Oeing to the exchange rate at the moment this meal was amazing value and very delicious! I would recommend the lamb with cous cous.

DB Bistro Moderne is a great place to eat either before or after the theatre in New York. Wine list had some interesting offerings including exquisite Parker estate from Australia. DB Burger is a classic stuffed with truffles. Scallop starter was sublime. would highly recommend it, especially for an intimate dinner as easy to talk.

DB Bistros Moderne on 44th Street Is ideally situated if you are visiting the theatre district nearby. A very buzzy, noisy restaurant with a great atmosphere. The food was beautifully prepared and not too much of it which is quite unusual in New York. The downside was the huge queue for the restrooms !!! I would definitely return though.

We had a table for two in a quiet corner of the restaurant. There was a good mix of people on Thanksgiving Day and the food, atmosphere and service were excellent. The lobster salad was a treat and the onion and bacon amuse-bouche was delicious. The wine list was varied and reasonably priced; we chose a Crozes-Hermitage that went perfectly with the turkey. The portions were just right - not obscene as in some restaurants in New York! Would definitely recommend.

DB Bistro Moderne. Great food, great service, great night. I propsed to my girlfriend there on 16/11/07, and the service was great. They provided complimentary champaigne and deserts all timed perfectly within the evening. They made us feel very special and I would recommend them to anyone.

Excellent food, although they have their famours signature burguer with foi gras i decided to order the fish and it was sensational. my colleagues ordered the infamous burguer and they really enjoyed it as well. The service was excellent and the restrooms clean and functional, nothing memorable. In general, the whole experience was great and good value for money, it sure leaves you full up after ordering just main courses.

DB Bistro Moderne - we tried the signature burger and it was huge! we could have got equally good burgers at burger joint with fraction of the price. it was an experience not to have missed nevertheless.
