About Darbucka
Darbucka bar in Clerkenwell has a fabulous concept. They serve fresh Lebanese cuisine on 2 levels. The upstairs restaurant features a mix of high and low tables, perfect for sampling the menu. Downstairs in the World Music Bar, the lighting becomes shadowy, the culture aural, with live world music that will pull you up out of your soft, low seating and get you dancing – or even belly-dancing. Down here, you’d be forgiven for thinking you’ve wandered into a luxurious Bedouin tent: the walls are lined with red fabrics, colourful drapes shimmer in the glow of the lamps, and shisha pipes complete the Eastern feel. If you’re feeling elegantly exotically Eastern, make sure you reserve your place at Darbucka.
Entrance to the world music bar on Fridays and Saturdays costs £5.00 (with belly dancer and DJ- great party night out).Other cover charges of £5 - £10 apply a couple of times a month, when special entertainment is organisedBelly dancing classes can also be booked for women wanting an all girls night out with a difference.

Went to Darbucka on a Monday night, quite a few pwople, unfortunately the downstairs area was closed which looked like the best area - low tables and bar. Food was good. We got the set menu as there was a large group of us. We all left feeling very full and satisfied. Would go again.

Darbucka - An hour wait in between courses (this when it was half empty), no loo roll in the toilets, side dishes were ordered but never arrived, and half the things on the menu they had run out of!Review
Went to Darbucka for an alternative Christmas lunch and really enjoyed it. Service good, food a little slow but all in all a really nice change if you enjoy eastern food. We decided to go for the meze and there was plenty of fresh cooked food to go round.Visitors
