About Cubana
Cubana is a discovery place. Definitely not just another overpriced chain-run theme bar, Cubana is a genuine Cuban-Latino bar-restaurant with some of London's best fresh, tropical fruit cocktails - and they also offer surprisingly tasty food based on recipes from pre-revolutionary cookbooks prepared from fresh, free-range ingredients at very reasonable prices. Cubana's signature dish is Pollo Criollo - free-range chicken sautéed in fresh orange, garlic, onions and sherry, served with fried plantain and black bean rice. Prime Scotch char-grilled sirloin steak marinated Cuba-style, with the trimmings. There is also a great selection of tapas, including spicy crab cakes with home-made mango / chilli salsa and lush desserts like home-made coconut flan with a scoop of cool coconut ice cream.Please note that Cubana does not take bookings for groups of more than 6 people through toptable.

We got there for some happy hour cocktail jugs before dinner. Can recommend Mojitos. Nice atmosphere and good food. The mixed tapas strater is definitely worth trying.

great food and drinks! fabulous collection of cocktails at reasonable prices esp during happy hour ;) My only complain would be that the service is a little slow at times..because of the lay out you can get shoved in a corner and forgotten about. Staff were v friendly thou... A good place to go just for drinks, but get there early...esp fri/sat night...Review
Cubana has a great atmosphere and great Cuban food, not to mention the cocktails... Fried plantain fritters were a bit dry this time round but overall a cheap and good quality meal. Going back next week :)Visitors
