About Chez Clément Opera
This branch of Chez Clément is very usefully set between the Opera and church of the Madeleine, and therefore in the heart of shopping-land, from Hermes to Christofle. Bring your weary shopped-out feet to Chez Clément and recharge your energies. This restaurant is lovely and eccentric, with a melange of fabrics, mirrors, antiques and souvenirs artfully arranged to create the ambience of a welcoming country auberge. The menu is French with inspirations from elsewhere. Share a platter of Chez Clément starters between two, then enjoy a main course of roasted salmon with rack of veg in caper juice, and pudding of citrus in all its states. Great for shellfish.

Review
This was a disaster from start to finish. The restaurant denied knowledge of our booking. We were left standing in the foyer for 40 minutes without explanation. Eventually we were served but the service and food were poor and not in accordance with the menu we had selected and paid for in advance. It was very disappointing for all 14 of us who had made a day trip from England for the meal. We will not be returning.

I had a steak which was decent enough, but my girlfriend had a piece of chicken which was over cooked and consequently quite dry. The choclate dessert would good, and the beaujolais excellent.Review
Nice place, just one minute from Métro Opéra and beautiful Opéra Garnier. The restaurant is noisy, busy and few space between tables. Food is correct but nothing exceptional. Convenient for a short break before doing shopping.Visitors
