We went to Charlot on a Friday night. When we arrived we were seated quickly and attended to immediately. The whole restaurant is a real feast for the eyes as much as the anything.

Nice meal, interesting decor. bit smelly though. Right on busy street in Monmartre, so not exactly great ambieance. Good fish display.

We went to Charlot on a Saturday evening and ate in the upstairs main restaurant which was very well laid out with adequate space between tables. The food was excellent if somewhat overpriced but not enoufght to spoil the veening. The only downside was the attititude of the head waitress who was agrressive and haughty throughout but this was more than made up by the other staff who were polite and attentive. Charlot is found in a very rough and reday area but well worth a visit.

Worth a visit if in Paris. Quite pricy but food very good. Mostly plain seafood served in 'fruits de mer' style but very good quality. Grilled sole was delightful. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Excellent quality of the food, just one little thing that remains to be improved, the green salad "mâche" had not been sorted properly, small hard and griity bits had to be removed but otherwise everything was really nice even the table with ample space(found 6 reviews)
