About Charlie Bell's
Charlie Bell's is the more casual of restaurants at The Runnymede, a 4-star hotel on a picturesque weir on the River Thames, near Windsor. It's a charming spot that guests make the most of come summer when tables spill out on to the terrace on the water's edge. Prepared in an open kitchen on flame grills and a spit-roast, the menu focuses on handmade Scotch beef burgers. Topseller is the classic Charlie Bell's. Among the most interesting of the choice is the black pudding burger blended with Lancashire black pudding for a stronger flavour. Rib-eye steaks sell equally well. Charlie Bell's is popular with families, hence the healthy children's menus featuring hotel mascot, Magna the monkey.

The special of the day at Charlie Bells was butterfish in a creamy wine sauce, it was delicious. The only disappointment was both desserts (sticky toffee pudding and chocolate brownie) were served cold.Review
The service was slow today considering we were the only ones there. Very vague about the special offers themselves! The dessert was disappointing. We were told the wrong information but they apologised for their mistake when they realised.Review
I met a friend at Charlie Bells after work and it was the perfect place for a post work catch up. My friend had one of their burgers and I wish I had too as it was very good. I had a chicken & prawn ciabatta which was fine but nothing too excting. However the value was good and the service exceptional with the perfect balance between attentiveness and space. Charlie Bell's wouldnt be somewhere I'd go for a special occasion but is fine for an informal meal.Visitors
