We love Thai food and the food at Chaophraya was the best we have ever tasted. We ate on a Sunday evening and the place was very busy - which created a great atmostophere. Shame they hadn't chilled the white wine properly though.

The seafood was lovely, perfectly cooked and the staff were attentive and service was fast. I love this place and would recommend it.

Had the vegetarian platter to share, which was great, but not quite as good as the spare ribs I ordered as a side. Was impressed that the waiter made an effort to find an nice table for us, as although it was originally requested, it looked like they didn't have any left, but fair play to him for finding one.

By the time Ieft Chaophraya, Manchester I felt like I was wrapped up in love! The staff are absolutely lovely although the help I needed in finding my way through a Thai meal - the first ever on my own - wasn't forthcoming. The food I did have was great quality and the restaurant itself was beautiful. I would go back without doubt.

My girlfriend had a wonderful birthday at Chaophraya, although it would have been better bar a few communication issues (surprise means don't tell her!!!), although the actual Happy Birthday moment made up for it. Both the normal and vegetarian banquets were delicious and great value too.

Chaophraya was a lovely restuarant with great food, I will definitely go back. Some of the dishes were very spicy, but these were clearly marked on the menu.

Great food, busy but friendly staff, nice atmosphere. Perhaps a bit pricy but still worth a visit!

Delicious starters, and the set dinner (minimum two people) was good value. I highly recommend Chaophraya.

Chaophraya is a light and airy Thai restaurant situated upstairs in central Manchester. Our party of 8 ate and drank well for £30 a head using a combination of the excellent set menus. Despite it being busy the service was attentive without being intrusive.
