You’ll be hard pushed to find anyone who has a bad word to say about Chaophraya. Nominated for Best Restaurant in Leeds City Centre, it is one of the Northern capital’s favourite restaurants. It has a stunning, traditional meets modern, interior with a large centerpiece waterfall. Whatever your reason for being here - express lunch, swift afternoon drink, dinner – Chaophraya unfailingly ticks all the boxes with exemplary service from traditionally-dressed staff, and an excellent big menu split into various cooking styles – curries, stir fries and so on. Try tender lamb chops with mango, stir-fried rock lobster with black pepper sauce or the more conventional creamy paneang curry or the bestselling ‘sizzling’ dishes. Considered one of Leeds top sun traps, the beautiful bamboo terrace gets packed in summer.
