About Casa de Cocodrilo

Casa del Cocodrilo restaurant in Liverpool’s Woolton neighbourhood is another hit single from the people who brought you Alma de Cuba and Negresco Sud. Therefore, you can assume – though we’ll tell you – that it used to be a pub and has had a stylish makeover into this Spanish and Latin American style eaterie. Wooden floors and chairs, white table linens, plants and funky, authentic details are everywhere. It feels like someplace Bogey and Bacall would pitch up for cool drinks and hot banter. Then they’d probably order the Creole jambalaya because it’s Casa del Cocodrilo’s signature dish, and that’s what style icons do. Glamourous, casual bar for superb drinks.

Please be aware that this restaurant is 18 and over.

Casa del Cocodrilo means The House of the Crocodile, so come get your pearly gnashers into this terrific grub. Who knows? You might spot a celeb or two.

Casa de cocodrilo is the old elephant pub in woolton with a huge makeover. The decor is modern with lots of dark wood. We ate upstairs which is a lovely dining room, very initimate - good for couples. Service was excellent, efficient and friendly. The food let it down a bit, my cat fish was a bit greasy and my boyfriends jambalaya had too much pepper in it. Overall though we had a really good night, and will try the food there again.
