About Carmelite
Carmelite restaurant in Aberdeen is the crowning glory of a stunning refurbishment of the very cool, historic Carmelite building. The antique revolving doors lead into a hip lounge and informal restaurant with floor-to-ceiling windows and sleek design – a perfect backdrop for the warm service and uncomplicated cuisine. Local Scottish produce is the base for signature dishes like seared scallops with onion marmalade, twice-baked cheese soufflé and daube of Angus beef with roasted veg. Flexible weekend brunch menus make Carmelite the only place to be with the in-laws or the Sunday papers.

Carmelite has a pleasant atmosophere, attentive staff, excellent wine. There's a varied menu, with the food of a high standard, nicely presented. Best sticky toffee pudding so far.Review
the Carmalite restaurant. the food was very well presented and the service was good . The scallops were tasteless , to me they tasted like they had been frozen and the wine was expensive the lamb however was very good but lacked a bit of veg which came as an extra ,the dessert to share was tasty.Review
