About Burlington's
If you want views while you dine you’ve certainly got them at Burlington’s Restaurant in Windermere. Part of the impressive Beech Hill Hotel, set in to the East bank of Lake Windermere with incredible views to the Cumbrian Fells, Burlington’s is traditionally sophisticated with tartan carpet, imposing fireplace and crisp white table linen not to mention those picture windows which make a visit here worthwhile before you’ve even peeked at the menu. But even if those windows were bricked up there’d be no mistaking the taste of Cumbria which emanates from every mouthful of food here. The kitchen freshly prepares a fusion of French and British gourmet dishes using the incredibly flavourful produce brought in from local farmland and offers a three course Simple Flavours menu or the all out five course Gourmet menu... what views?
Opening hours:
Mon - Sun: 7pm - 9pm
Lake Windermere is the largest natural lake in Britain, 12 miles long and 220 foot deep.

Burlington's was a surprise find in the Lake District. Beautiful views over Lake Windermere were expected but a high quality restaurant was not. We had the more expensive menu at £40/person for 3 courses plus 2 tasters. The food was good, as was the service. However, this is not a top class restaurant, rather a very good hotel restaurant and probably the best in the area.Review
I had a gourmet 7 course dinner at Burlington's and it was amazing. The service was very quick and the atmosphere very relaxing. Overall a great experience!Visitors
