About Budokan - Bristol
Since 1998 Bristol’s Budokan has undoubtedly been the South West’s number one Pan Asian restaurant, boasting two AA Rosettes and a regular clientele. The simple, fuss free bar leads through to an equally unpretentious dining room where you’ll have no problem getting to know your fellow diners on the long wooden benches which stretch the width of the room. The menu takes in the very best of Asian food using fresh, free range ingredients, as free as possible from genetic modification. Signature dishes from Japan, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia are well represented in a surprisingly concise menu with good value set menus for those who find it difficult to pick.
Opening hours:
Mon - Sat: 12pm - 2:30pm & 5:30pm - 11pm
Theme Magazine awarded Budokan its Best Food Offer prize in 2001.

Budokan was simple but had good food. Would go again.Review
Budokan takes a successful formular and and builds upon it - a bit like a more stylish Wagamama but better food and better value. Casual bench-style tables and choppy service lends an informal atmosphere while the quality and presentation of the food iitself is superb. The Rapid refuel menu represents great value for money but the main menu has a fantastic selection of noodles, sushi, tempora etc. Second visit - never disappointed.Review
Loved this place- fit the bill exactly. Good value, nice food, and we wore Pilot costumes. Well done Budokan.Visitors
