About Brasserie St Quentin

Brasserie St Quentin was one of the first brasseries in London serving le vrai cuisine bourgeois in very French style to great acclaim. Now re-acquired by its one of its original partners, Hugh O'Neill, the St
Quentin is, dare we say it, better than ever. Yup, we dare. There's a fabulous French-ish eclectic menu created by the gifted hands of former Savoy chef Gary Durrant, served in a stylish and comfortably dressy brasserie dining room. The prices are hard to believe in this very
expensive corner of the universe, two courses and a glass of wine for less
than £20? Mon dieu. And the service is magnifique. Try gravadlax with potato rosti and honey and mustard sauce followed by poulet fermier dans son jus followed by lemon tart with orange yoghurt ice cream. The good wine list is reasonably priced, too.

Please note credit cards details are required and compulsory to secure the booking of groups of 6 to 8 peaople. For groups of 8 and over please note you have to pre-order the menu before the date. For cancellations or no shows, we will charge £20 per person.

Opening hours:
Mon - Sun 12pm - 3pm & 6pm - 10:30pm

Brasserie St Quentin looks the part, half lit and brass rails. The statrers are good on choice, and the oysters and quail on risotto were thought over choices. The quail was well cooked, but the oysters had been carelessly opened, so shellflakes touched the tongue. The belly pork for main was lucious , but £3.50 per vegetable dish for tiny portions was rapacious. As was the three very small portions of cheese- no choice- served for almost £7.00.Good food, but soaking the wallets -generosity needed!

Dining tables as in many restaurants in London are too close to eachother which is not good for privacy. I had a sirloin which interestingly was served with bearnaise sauce. Tender meat but now quite large enough a portion for my taste. My partner had a poultry dish with excellent potatoes mixed with little chorizos. All in all a pleasurable experience with a nice view from the window
