I was dining alone at Bonsoir Clara in Brussels on New Year's Eve - I would reccomend it for the food and the ambiance but think their New Year menu was a little overpriced at 90 Euros without wine. The wood pigeon and the Dover Sole were really excellent - the sushi-like starter a little less so.

Bonsoir Clare is an excellent restaurant, nice modern interior, delicious food, Belgian with overtones of international, good service and, in spite of being busy, diners are not rushed. The house wine was good value. Bonsoir Clara is a first class Brussels dining experience that can be repeated with confidence.

Bonsoir Clara's food was excellent with a varied menu and wine list. Very good service. However, the starters in particular were on the pricey side for the quantity of food.

Bonsoir Clara is a great restaurant in a great location. The food was wonderful, including the vegetarian food and the service was impeccable. Quiet on a Sunday night, but then what isn't in Brussels.

Bonsoir Clara was an excellent resturant, top class food, friendly service, the most expensive meal of our holiday but worth the treat. Remember to ask for the English translation of the menu if you require it as they do have them...

Not the romantic ambience that I was expecting, but good anyway. Food is good, but not memorable. I went with my husband, but I would imagine it's the perfect place to catch up with girlfriends after a day of shopping. Nice decor.

12/10 - fantastic food and service. Very inventive kitchen and presentation. Froglegs and lamb cutlets - fantastic. Wine from the new world - Excellent choices. Will be back.

The food was the definite highlight at Bonsoir Clara, although the vegetarian options were somewhat sparse. The refreshing gazpacho was served divided into tomato & cucumber halves of the bowl - unusual! Cured salmon with seven spices had amazing flavours and my co-diner said the duck was the best he had ever tasted. The ambience was cosy, smart, but friendly with mainly English-speaking diners that night. Staff were attentive and spoke good English. We had a lovely Bordeaux too.

bonsoir clara - very eclectic menu but not very easy for a non-french speaker to know what the suggestions were! good atmosphere but watch out for the house white...
