About Boisdale of Belgravia
If the thought of Scottish cuisine means haggis and little else, then pay a visit to Boisdale and prepare to be converted. Of course, they do serve McSween's Haggis, but you will find plenty of dishes to appeal if it's not your bag. The atmosphere is masculine and clubby with dark green and lacquer red panelling, dark wood floors and interesting paintings. Where possible, the ingredients used in the dishes are sourced directly from Scotland and the vegetables procured from organic suppliers.
What's cooking?

Boisdale of Belgravia provided good food, welcoming service and excellent ambience with jazz. I was slightly concerned because we had a late booking post theatre, but service was speedy without being rushed. Slight disappointment that lamb dish was unavailable, but delicious tender fillet steak. We were in the main restaurant which was noisy, buzzy - great party atmosphere without being deafening. Perfect for our group of six.Review
Brilliant as always.Review
So disappointing! Huge prices with no service or quality of food to match. The steak I had was tasty but should have been hot. I sent it back and had the plate microwaved and returned to me but with the steak at the same cold tempurature. I complained and the manager ignored me. The chips were from a bag and the spinach as a side dish at 3.95 was basically theft. We went somewhere else to have dessert. The waiter at Boisdales didn't seem surprised that we were unhappy. I guess he's used to it.Visitors
