Originally believed to have been a coaching Inn, dating from the late 17th century, the Best Beech Inn has been at various times a butchers and an early petrol station. When Standing outside and looking at the chimney you will see a Community Village Circle symbol, this signified that the Inn was bicycle friendly ! Now the history of the Best Beech Inn is changing again. The Best Beech Inn offers modern European cuisine with classical French influences. Mouth watering examples of the menu are squid ink risotto topped with a seared scallop and pancetta; Pan fried fillet of John Dory with roasted beetroot, fine beans and an orange essence, and meat dish.
