Berry`s restaurant is a very nice place. And the outside area is just beautiful. On sunny day definitely sit on the terrace. It is quiet (which was exactly what I was looking for), so dont go if you like busy places. The food was delicious. The service needs a bit of improvement, it wasnt perfectly co-ordinated.

THe first impression was good and we settled in the bar for our pre-dinner drink with high expectations. There was, however a Friday wedding taking place and the staff were clearly otherwise engaged.

Berrys restaurant was so quiet that we were not able to talk normally. the food was good,but not outstanding for the price which was almost 190 pounds for 3 people inclding one bottle of wine and 2 drinks. the service was excellent. we would not go again

Berry's was very nice indeed; the food was excellent and the waiting staff were very attentive - sometimes a bit too attentive as they once tried to take our plates away the second we'd finished... It was quite quiet, so I agree with other reviewers in that the ambience could have been slightly better. The bill was quite expensive (£150 for two for three courses including good wine), but ok for a treat once in a while. All in all a very nice meal.

Berry's restaurant is perfect. Fantastic food at really reasonable prices. The hotel is beautiful if you are into class! It's a very relaxing and romantic place with service that is attentive and friendly without obtrusive. The Venison terrine and Chocolate fondant with Beetroot sorbet are to die for!

Looks a bit strange giving so many 10s but it deserved it. First visit to Berry's and it was a delight - a real treat to find a dining room within a manor house that is superbly decorated and not showing any signs of neglect as is so often the case. The choice from the £22 for 2 or £25 for 3 course menu was very good and offered exceptional value for money given the quality, the service and surroundings. I will definately be going again.

We were not sure what to expect when we arrived at Taplow House Hotel. The building itself is beautiful - it was dark when we arrived and lit up like a Christmas Tree! All the staff were very polite and friendly. Seated in the resturant overlooking the lit garden, we were treated to X compliments of the chef, which was delicious. The food we ate was of a high standard. It was very quiet but the maitre'd was superb! Served coffee by the fire - it is highly recommended for a winters evening!
Eg. italian, Ritz, Benitos, meatballs...
