About Bbar
Bbar's South African-themed bar and restaurant in London's Victoria does a good trade in classy lunches, fine wines and fantastic cocktails. Here’s where you can dine out on springbok (on sweet potato mash, with bacon, lentils and mushroom sauce), or, if it’s lunchtime, Boerewors sausages. Having said that, the menu is predominantly Modern European. The SA options are simply particularly worth mentioning. Mike Myers’ photographs of big game, zebrano wooden table tops, leopardskin lampshades, and fake crocodile leather chairs coupled with enthusiastic, ever-smiling staff provide all the equatorial atmosphere you could wish for. Downstairs, a funky, laidback bar copes with the after-work overspill. Finally, a decent restaurant near Victoria Station.
Last orders for lunch are at 3pm and last orders for dinner are at 10:30pmPlease note downstairs bar is only available for drinks and exclusive hire.

I thought the service was poor and the food overpriced.Review
Bbar was good fun. Funky African theme, with modern European/South African cuisine. Staff were very friendly and happy to rearrange my booking at short notice. Six of us had the special Christmas menu for £39.95 (one bottle of wine per table and hats and crackers), which proved good value. A handy venue for working lunches or a relaxed lunch with friends. I would go again.Review
BBar is a regular haunt and one of my favourite places for business dining - though also fun with friends in the evening. Food is consistently good although sometimes the service can be a little erratic. It's getting pricier and less good value than it used to be but still a safe bet for decent, nciely presented food.Visitors
