About Bayee House Chinese Restaurant
Bayee House restaurant is some people’s favourite Chinese restaurant in all of Greater London – and that includes the big names in Chinatown. Bayee House restaurant is a light, modern space with blond wood tables and chairs, well-lit artifacts tucked into decorative niches, with artfully-arranged flowers softening the effect. The authentic regional cooking brings the best of classic Peking cuisine and fiery Szechuan cooking to the table, with a particular focus on fish. Lobster is the house specialty, but everything that swims seems to show up on the menu, including English oysters. Try starter of steamed fresh scallops in the shell with black bean sauce, main course of fresh lobster stir-fried with chilli and garlic salt. Meat-eaters and vegetarians are also well-accommodated. Service is right on the money.
Opening hours:
Mon - Sun 12pm - 2:30pm & 6pm - 11pm

The Bayee House was great value for money on New years eve. There was a set menu for £22 and you could order as many dishes as you liked. The food was great and the service was fantasticReview
The Bayee House Chinese Restaurant deserves to be busier. Having now been three times and always pleased by the excellent observant and energetic staff [who even ensure a pleasant 'farewell' in addition to the warm 'welcome'], the reasonable pricing and the range of goodies on offer. Easy to reach, being close to East Barnes tube station, with on-road parking after 18.00 hrs. This is perhaps a more suitable venue for groups of [say] six or more but couples and singles are always welcome.Review
