About Battersea Rickshaw
In an excellent position on Battersea Square, just moments from the Thames and Battersea Park, Battersea Rickshaw is an Indian restaurant with a very modern twist. The comfortable canteen style dining room gives this venue a relaxed atmosphere whilst also being smart enough to make it feel a little bit special. Long caramel coloured benches face neat tables and chairs while high stools provide seating for lunch time snackers and pre-bar scoffers and a well stocked bar is perfect for those just popping in for takeout. A menu of mouthwatering modern Indian classics accompany the easy going atmosphere with favourites such as lamb biryani offered alongside the likes of coriander crusted lamb chops.

Battersea Rickshaw is situated in an attractive little square very near the river. The interior of the restaurant was very modern and tastefully decorated throughout. For a Saturday night it was really quiet; maybe 5 other tables seated during our 2hr stay. The food was great and presented in a modern western European manner. Service matched the presentation. Portion sizes were great and prices were good. My only issue was the lack of other customers for a restuarant that clearly deserves it.Review
Great location in Battersea Square with good outlook to street. External appearance from road was smart / modern, matched by pleasantly lit interier with nice dark colours. The food was delicious with good service. Their were several groups / couples dining but not too crowded. Price was well matched to the dining experience. I would happily come back again.Visitors
