The Ashoka Shak in Linwood was the first Ashoka Shak to open back in 2001, and the stylish, sassy Indian diner has been drawing locals back time and time again for their delicious curries and spicy sharing platters. Located in the Phoenix Leisure Park, close to the Glasgow airport, the restaurant has a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere and an extensive menu offering everything from classic curries to fish and chips. We love the Tandoori Mixed Grill with tandoori chicken, chicken tikka, pather kebabs, lamp chops and barbecued king prawns; the Salmon Tikka marinated in yoghurt and spices, barbecued and served with masala mint chutney; and the Lamb Rogan Josh curry cooked in a rich sauce with tomatoes and cream.
