About Asha's Indian Bar and Restaurant
Asha's Indian Bar & Restaurant won Taste Birmingham's Best Newcomer 2007 Award. Birmingham now has its very own brimful of Asha right here on Newhall Street. We’re not kidding, Asha’s is the latest addition to legendary Bollywood singer Asha Bhosle’s empire. Following on from the success of restaurants in Kuwait and Dubai this is a place where fans of Indian music and Indian food can combine their passions. The space is large but intimate, decorated in a warm, welcoming style. And if you were concerned about theme-ish menus worry no more, from the fabulous Tandoori kebabs to the unmissable curries you’ll be singing the praises of Asha’s food all the way home.

Ashas Restaurant on Newhall Street-Birmingham is a new age Indian restaurant with modern ambience, great staff and delicious food. We ordered couple of drinks and Muscat Gosht (..Which is to die for), Mai's Prawn Curry and Chicken Biryani. The bill came to about £60 for the two of us and it was a great evening. Would recommend this to anyone who wants to enjoy delicious Indian food in contemprorary modern setting with knowledgeable and friendly staff.

Much improved service since our last visit, food arrived on time and servod hot. Pleasant environment except the heating system not working and some guests did complain of feeling pretty cold. overall 7/10Review
