we've dined at Aqua-vitus on numerous occasions and the level of service and quality of food never fails to impress. It has a unique ambience and the live music on friday nights is relaxing.

The ambience of the Aqua-Vitus restaurant together with the live music was excellent. The service was excellent. The only downside to this venue are the shabby toilets which are in need of a refurbishment. Excllent place and would go again.

This is our second year running to the restaurant, (myself and my husband), and again, we got excellent and friendly service. We found it hard to choose from the mouthwatering choices on the menu. The food was excellently presented and delicious and the fantastic range of wine on the menu meant we were spoilt for choice. Also, we didn't have to wait long for our servings. Superb! See you next year!

We had a very pleasant evening at Aqua-Vitus with friendly staff serving good food. The Swedish input makes for interesting variation - for example an excellent herring starter with a shot of aquavit. Note however that the main influence is French resulting in some very rich dishes - in particular a lobster bisque was excessively creamy for our taste. Other than that, a great place.

Aquavit, Chester is a charming restaurant with friendly, attentive staff and superb value for money food. The wine list is compact but manages to cater for a wide variety of tastes at very reasonable prices. We had a delicious Roija for only £18.50. There is nothing to fault at Aquavit.

Aqua-Vitus was Aquavit where I have dined several times in the past, the atmosphere and friendly staff are unchanged what was the early bird menu is now available all evening still very good value although perhaps a different chef still good but not the excellent quality I have experienced before. Next time I must try the a la carte menu again.(found 10 reviews)
