This is the second time we have eaten here. It is expensive as portions (especially of the monkfish) are quite dainty. However the lamb curry (which can be spced as hot or as mild as you wish) is exceptional, as is the beef with anise , which I had last time. The room is a little characterless but very elegant and the service very welcoming. It's really all about the food which is original and absolutely delicious; We will keep going back!

Fairly new restaurant. Overall service & food was satisfactory. Unfortunately, the best dish (lamb) was sold out. Weird because it was early lunch & d restaurant was practically empty. Tho there's room for improvements, they're open & eager to improve & appreciate the feedback provided. A convenient place for a quick bite. Great in the summer & dinner as there's direct views of the wharf. Abit pricy without discounts tho. Probably check out the place again once they're more established.

It took us a little while to find the restaurant, but when we arrived we were greated by very plesent staff. We had the 50% off food offer so ordered 2 starters, 2 mains, rice and 2 sides - far too much!! But they kindly offered to save the rest for us in a doggy bag! The waiters (with a special mention to Alex) were so friendly and gave perfect service, not too little yet not too in your face. I would recommend this restaurant, tho it could be expensive with out the toptable offer.

We went to Anupana with the 50% offer. The food was excellent, service, very good and the venue was lovely. However, don't go if you want a standard curry. The la carte menu features various unusual seafood dishes and is fairly limited. So we ordered some bits off the takeaway menu and were advised there would be £3 added on to each of the meals - we didn't realilse that included veges so ended up paying £7 for spinach and mushroom, it came to a very expensive meal even with the 50% off.

THe food at Anupana was lovely. A really modern, creative twist on the usual Indian 'tikka massala' menu. As it is still quite new and unknown to many, it was a bit empty but I'm sure it'll get busy once it launches. The waiters wore big smiles and were available at all times. The background music needs to be updated somewhat, Kenny G seems a little missplaced in this establishment. The take-away menu was pretty high class. I can't wait to get my Friday take-out from Anupana.

Anupana was unexpectedly deserted in Wednesday night. Apart from one other couple we were the only diners in the restaurant for the entire evening, although quite a few people popped in for takeaways. The staff were hospitable and very friendly, making us feel at ease immediately. They appear to be "between chefs" at the moment. we tried some unusal dishes scallops were slightly over cooked but not unpleasant, the soft shell crab masala was excellent, as were the unusual spinach dumplings.
