About Andreas Restaurant
Charlotte Street has really blossomed in recent years. Among its many good bars and restaurants is Andrea's, a haven of fantastic Greek food since 1962. Run by the amiable Constantinides family, this traditional-looking restaurant has a genuinely nice, cosy feel. It helps that there are several regulars among the informal crowd, which includes the occasional celebrity. Burgundy upholstered seating and matching carpet are spread across two floors. Best-selling dishes include moussaka, monkfish and the delicious kleftigo (oven-roasted lamb shank). Lots of veggie dishes, and a good list of fine Greek and Cypriot wines as well as French, Italian and Australian wines. Best table is no.10 in front of the double French doors, overlooking a small terrace for sipping ouzo when the sun's out.
Please be aware that in the evenings the kitchen closes at 10:15pm.

I went to Andrea's for a business lunch midweek. the service was attentive and very friendly with the table nicely laid out. it all looked clean, too. it was quiet as we ate early so I can't fully comment on the true ambience but it was a pleasurable and relaxing environment to eat and discuss the world and business. the food had good flavours, generous portions and good value considering the location in Charlotte street. The menu was large with good choice. all round a good eatery

If Andreas Restaurant would prefer not to receive customers at 6pm, then perhaps they shouldn't accept bookings for this time. The host was friendly enough, but made it very apparant that he would rather we were dining later. The Kleftiko was a little disappointing. The lamb was tender but not particularly flavoursome and it was a shame there was no feta cooked into the dish. As rating indicates the toilets were pretty awful, and I had to find the light switch before I could get in thereVisitors
