About Amicus Apple
This super-stylish restaurant has lit up Edinburgh's restaurant scene with its sleek design and classic British menu. The dining room at Amicus Apple is chic and colourful with hardwood floors, cream leather banquettes and bright red walls, and the backlit bar is ideal for pre-dinner cocktails. The service is excellent, and the food reasonably priced. Favourite dishes at Amicus Apple include the warm smoked mackerel and potato salad on crisp little gem to start with; the braised shin of beef, tarragon potato dumplings, carrot and onion puree for main course; and the exquisite raspberry and toffee baked Alaska to share for pudding.

Amicus Apple was great and a nice relaxed venue - only problem was our food had been under a heat lamp and although it tasted great the look was not. We would go back and give it another try.

Amicus Apple - Edinburgh - What a fantastic restaurant. The service was impeccable (even though the waiter was on his own and it was extermely busy) and the food was outstanding. Assistance in picking the right dish was given and also with the wine. Waiter was extremely welcoming and advised us on where best to go - Tiger Lily was his top choice and he was right! Would definitely recommend this place as it was perfect in every way!Visitors
