Amarone is an excellent Itialian restaurant conveniently situated in the heart of Glasgow. The food, service, and value for money are first class. Definately worth a visit.

My girlfriend and I were very impressed with Amarone. We were looking for a romantic evening out and that is what we got. The restaurant layout ensures that you are not crammed in with other diners. The service was very good, attentive without being intrusive. The food was excellent and very good value for money at £65 for 2 x 3 courses plus a bottle of wine. I would recommend the mixed seafood for a main course. We will definately be back!

Went to Amarone for the first time with my boyfriend for dinner. It was very nice inside and had a relaxed yet sophisticated atmosphere.The service was great and we did not need to wait long for our food to arrive. The food was lovely too with good sized portions and there was a large selection on the menu to choose from. The prices were also very reasonable. We both enjoyed a starter, main course and shared a desert. This accompanied with a bottle of wine cost £42.

Visited Amarone for a pre-dinner meal on 10 April. Restaurant was very busy and it's easy to see why. Very quick and attentive service, although a slight downside was that tables for couples tend to be around the edges of the restaurant so you will probably have a wall to lean on. We both chose from the pre-dinner menu, excellent value at £14.95 per person. We will definately go back for dinner. This is also a good place to go in the summer when there are tables outside.

Had a great meal, very quiet, but it was a Monday night. Service could not be faulted. Only downside was the amount of oil in the olives!!!
Eg. italian, Ritz, Benitos, meatballs...
