About Amantia
Amantia is a chic and super-friendly Mediterranean restaurant in Canterbury, Kent, with a superb selection of fresh seafood. The dining room – with wooden floors, mahogany tables and cream leather chairs – is a stylish and intimate affair with, thanks to the delightful staff, a family-run feel. Amantia is a popular place for business lunches, and is always busy in the evenings with a local crowd. We love the Whitstable oysters, seafood medley – a platter of grilled sardines, salmon, calamari and king prawns served with salad, and the traditional Pasticcio – oven-baked linguine with feta cheese and béchamel sauce.
Opening hours:
Mon - Sun 11am - 3pm & 6pm - 11pm
Amantia is one of the only restaurants in Canterbury specialising in fresh, Mediterranean-inspired seafood.

Amantia has an interesting menu and all the options we chose were well presented and cooked. The desert menu was a little lacking in variety. Good, attentive service and "spic and span" decor - but not very much of a mediterranean feel about the place - one of the few restaurants I've eaten in where no bread was offered. Overall good value for money.Review
Seated comfortably at a good sized table with friendly and attentive staff and a well paced meal made for a very enjoyable evening at the Amantia. The size, quality, presentation and balance of flavours in each course was impressive for a reasonably priced meal and it deserves to be a popular place to dine in Canterbury. Will definitely return soon.Visitors
