Amalfi restaurant in Soho is an old-style Italian trattoria – cosy, cheerful and great value. Get a table by the window and you can watch the world go by: fascinating viewing here in the heart of theatre-and-media land. Go easy on the delicious bread that comes with flavoured oil for dipping into, or you won’t have room for the gutsy penne arrabiata and the to-die-for tiramisu. In true Italian style, the coffee is excellent, the waiters are lively and the whole experience is a taste of la dolce vita.

Amalfi restaurant at Old Compton Street offers superb dining atmosphere and the service. The food was tasty and the only problem was that they were not able to provide my companion with the primary choice of pudding.Review
