We really enjoyed this restaurant, Liugi is fantastic and he took care of us. Everything from the antipasti to the wine was impeccable and delicious. Very authentic! Grazie.

We spent New Years Eve at Al Vantaggio and had a really good time. The welcome was great, very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is just down the road from Piazza di Popolo and we left to see in the New Year in the Piazza - brilliant. We were then able to go back to the restaurant for another couple of hours of celebration. Value for money was excellent 90 euros for 8 courses - not all were as good as others but it was New Years Eve and we were a table of 10. Overall really successful

We visited the restaurant for New Years Eve and were treated to a wonderful 8 courses at a super price of €85. We could find nothing this reasonable over New Years so close to Piazza Del Popolo. The resturant itself was a good size with nice clean amenities, on a good location just off a main street. There is outside seating.The food was fantastic, and the wine list was extensive and the house red was slipping down all to easily. The food came quickly. Friendly service. 10/10.

Great welcome on arrival made us feel good about Al Vantaggio. Had a good balance of locals and tourists. Good varied menu of Italian classics and we really appreciated the help and advice we were given working our way through the wine list. Recommendations were excellent.

We had a late evening meal and the restaurant was quiet for a Friday night but we received very friendly service and were not rushed. Traditional Roman food in a small, cosy room. Good old fashioned cocktail list and a mainly local wine list. Recommended for good Italian food and not expensive.

Al Vantaggio is perfectly pleasant but we felt it did not stand out from any number of similar places off the Via Del Corso. Not sure if they had our booking but fortunately not very busy anyway

Fantastic place and the staff are lovely. If you get the chance, request to sit in the back as there is much more atmosphere. Would definitely return!
