About Almaza
Almaza restaurant in Oxford has a special Lebanese and Indian menu that appeals to a wide clientele. You might start with a selection of fabulous Lebanese mezze then follow on with lamb or chicken curries or one of the seafood dishes with the chef’s own homemade sauce, and end with a Lebanese coffee. The flavours blend marvelously. The smart dining rooms attract a much more varied clientele than you’d imagine in this student-heavy town, so the ambience is calm and friendly. Almaza is named for Lebanon’s world-famous beer, which is served here – a perfect complement to the Middle Eastern and subcontinental flavours.
Opening hours:

Just across the street from the Odeon Cinema, Almaza is great for hashing over the plot points after a film.
