About Alderley Restaurant
The Alderley is a split-level conservatory on wooded slopes overlooking the Cheshire countryside. The family-run feel of the main sandstone country house is felt here too, where warm browns, gentle lighting and exemplary front-of-house staff make you really rather comfortable. The food's exceptionally good; all freshly made and sourced locally, as the breads and homemade butters testify. Temptations are many, like rump of Cheshire lamb, slow-cooked tomatoes, baby roasted potatoes and garden mint, £23.15, and 'Treacletown' pudding with butterscotch ice cream and toffee sauce, £6.50. Not to mention seared liver and bacon with herb mash and redcurrant jus from the table d'hote lunch menu, £13.95 for two excellent courses. Meals can be scaled up or down, as you like.
Opening hours:
Mon - Sat 12pm - 2pm & 7pm - 9pmSun 12pm - 4pm
The Alderley Restaurant has won Restaurant of the Year 2001-2002 and Best Use of Local Produce 2004-2005 by Life Magazine.

Dining at the Alderley Edge Hotel restaurant was a lovely experience - a wonderful alcove table and excellently presented food of a high quality - a lovely pre-Christmas lunch.Review
The staff were attentive and so helpful. I will definitely go to that restaurant again.Review
it is hard to understand why the restaurant at the alderley edge hotel doesn't have a michelin star. the whole experience, the quality of the wine list and and the interesting and unusual valentine's day menu was superb. the 3 -way cooked main course lamb was exceptional and although there was no choice on the menu, it was close to perfect. champagne and canapes to start and coffee with truffles in the lounge area to finish. bliss!Visitors
