About Abbaye - Bromley
Beer buffs, mussel enthusiasts and waffle connoisseurs alike should all put Abbaye in Bromley on their must-eat lists. This modern Belgian brasserie and beer bar overlooks Bromley Park from its location in the Glade Shopping Centre, and the restaurant is always buzzing with a cosmopolitan post-shopping, after-work crowd. The bar at Abbaye serves a variety of wheat, fruit and specialty beers, and the kitchen’s signature dish is mussels, which you can order with a variety of sauces. We also love the steak frites, and the Gauffre aux Bananes – freshly baked waffles with caramelised bananas, vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce for dessert.
Please note on Friday and Saturday evenings this restaurant only takes bookings at 7pm/7:30pm and 9pm/9:30pm.
Opening hours:
Mon - Sun 12pm - 11pm

The mussels at The Abbaye in Bromley are absolutely superb; as is the rest of the menu. I can't get enough of this place,=; highly recommendedReview
Very disappointing meal at the Abbaye, the food was seriously lacking in flavour, my partner had mussels of which he only ate about a quarter of, as they were dry, had no flavour and a lot of them were closed, they were also served with chunky chips as opposed to french fries. The music was also much to loud for a relatively quiet evening we struggled to hear each other speak. On a positive note the beer was v good - we would only go back for a drink in the future.Review
As usual the food and service at The Abbaye was fantastic! We love the wide selection of beers. My brother doesn't live locally but whenever he comes to visit he requests that we eat here. We'll definately be back!Visitors
