Had a fabulous meal at Set Portes - old world glamour rocks! Salt cod fritters, mussels and paella were all fantastic. Service was amazing. Book if you can as queues form quickly.

New Years Eve 2007. Although Barcelona is not great for this night, no real celebrations in the city, the staff went out of their way to ensure we all had an excellent evening. The optional fixed menu at 95 euros included cava all night, we were there from 8.30 til 12.30 and the cava was in constant supply!!!!!! A very well run restaurant that we would reccomend to anyone

Ate at 7 Portes on Sunday night. Wanted to try somewhere traditional and we weren't disappointed. Atmosphere was great and the staff were extremely helpful and attentive - the wine they recommended was very good. Had the paella which i would thoroughly recommend. Only disappointment was that the desert menu was limited as a lot of the dishes had finished by the time we were ready for it.

Food reasonable, nothing clever or outstanding, staff terrible, nice resturant, more formal that thought, bright lighting, so not the best for a romantic evening, best for group event, wine very poor, huge place.

We took 15 of our staff with their partners, there were 29 of us in total to 7 Portes, Barcelona. We had an upstairs private room which was great as we could relax and be less inhibited than we would have been in the main restaurant. The service was brilliant, food was delicious and it represented extremely good value for money. Would definitely book it again.

there is no doubt that 7 Portes does serve delicious paella and is worth the trip just to try this. However, it is quite a tourist destination and therefore you really pay for it! We tried cheaper, but just as tasty food in other places but the ambience here is what you come for. Just make sure you book in advance as there always seems to be a queue.

7 portes had excellent paella.we felt a bit pressured to leave as they tried to take away our food twice before we finished!when we left there was a big line for the restaurant so I am glad to have booked through toptable.

First visit and very much enjoyed. Service was a little but hit and miss but the food, ambience and general experience were all good.
