1 Lombard Street scores highly for convenient City location next to Bank tube, and is great for business lunches. Service was discrete and efficient and food was good as always. Great menu choice. One downside - We were seated at a table next to a pillar which became intrusive. I would ask to be moved if put there again. Overall, I would use this venue again. I've also used for breakfast. Recommended!

1 Lombard Street. Took my boyfriend for a cheaper Birthday meal on a Monday night. Really quiet and lovely atmosphere, service was great and food was really lovely and 5 courses were really filling. The wine list is suitably expensive but well worth it £25 for a Chenin Blanc being one of the cheapest. Would recommend to a couple who just want a quiet night but not really for a group or for people who expect a fun venue.

Food was exquisite however it was extremely noisy in the brasserie and the service was quite poor. We had to ask several times for drinks and at one point had to pour our own wine, although the food was so good I almost forgave the poor service. Would definately recommend if you don't mind having to raise your voice to talk.
