The food at Zortziko was interesting and the wine cellar was excellent. Only half full for Saturday lunch, though.

Zortiziko was a mixed experience. The highl y lauded chef produce some very delicious food but at minimal quantites. The atmosphere was stuffy and hushed although the staff was very accomodating.

Zortziko wasn't as lively as we had hoped, but the food was very good. An expensive meal mind you at nigh on 200 euros, however it was a pleasurable way to spend an evening in Bilbao, so should one be in spain, this is one to check out.

Zortziko is recommended as one of the best restaurants in a city reknowned for its good food - Bilbao. The food was excellent - my baby squid starter was divine - and service was extremely professional. If I had 1 (minor) quibble it would be that the room (and service) was very formal which is fine if that is what you are looking for.
