The Living Room in Nottingham served very good food, the shoulder of lamb was excellent. I found it quite dark though and did not like going down two flights of stairs to the toilets and having a person dispensing soap and towels. Serving staff were very attentive.

We ate at the Living Room mid-week in order to use a 40% off voucher, though I've eaten there before a couple of times, I haven't ever been mid-week. That atmospere was understated chic and quite relaxing. The service was great, despite being fairly busy. Good sized portions as well. My side dish of honey roast carrots had an excess of garlic on them (which luckilly I love but was overpowering), and I didn't have any bread served with my moules, however I'd say it was great overall.

Visited the Living Room in Nottingham last Sat, was very pleasent service and a great ambience. Food was excellent, we had 3 courses and a few drinks and the cost was very reasonable. If i had to try and pick faults I could only say maybe we could have had maybe 5 or 10 mins more between courses as it was take one away and the next one was passing it by in the kitchen,but that's been pickie!!! Music was a bit to dancey, if it ws smoother and slower it would make the ambience perfect! Try it!!

The Living Room in Nottingham is one of the nicest restaurants I have ever had the pleasure to eat in and the service is second to none. Our waiter, Matt, was incredibly attentive without being overbearing and the food was delicious. Will definately go back the next time I am in the area.

Busy bar downstairs with lots of music. Upstairs restaurant tastefully done with booths around the outside of the room and tables down the middle. Very low lighting which made reading the menu fun! Couldn't fault service and food was great with varied menu. Will return next time we are in Nottingham.

The Living Room in Nottingham really buzzes. The food is excellent and the service extremely slick but friendly. Only drawback was that although wine was reasonably priced lager was a tad expensive.
Eg. italian, Ritz, Benitos, meatballs...
