The House was buzzing on Saturday night. Friendly staff, good ambience, must be one of the most popular places in the area. Excellent food and good value for money. Highly recommend.

A party of 11 of us dined at The House restaurant 28/7/7 and all really enjoyed the food. It was beautifully presented and we thought, very reasonably priced though we were on a special party menu due to the amount of us there. Unfortunately one of the red wines on the menu was not in stock at all and another type of wine ran out after we'd had 2 bottles! Service was generally good, though the drinks side of things were not always kept on top of. Will be returning though and would def recommend.

The loved our first visit to the House from the relaxed atmosphere in the wine bar to the warm ambiance in the restaurant. The food was varied with lots of choices and all the dishes we had were excellent from the chorizo and potato starter, chicken skewers, john dory to the lamb hotpot. No room for pud unfortunately, definately next time!!

The House - i thought the crowd would be younger but it didn't actually matter in the end that we were the youngest people in there. good poriton sizes (especially the prawn starter!!)

We tried the House restaurant for a change from our usual choice of Francs situated opposite. Francs remains very good value for money even though we have noticed a slight decline in quality of food and service of late, however The House certainly won us over. On entering it was nice and warm so immediatelly gave a cosy feel (a lot of restaurants are that chilly you don't really want to take your coat off). The service was very good and the most important part, the food, was absolutely superb!!

The House in Altrincham is a lovely little restaurant which for a Tuesday night was quite busy due to their early diner offer. After booking, Toptable advised that the offer advertised was not available, however the restaurant had an even better offer of 3 courses for £11. This was very good value for money with delicious ,well presented food and excellent friendly service. Both myself and my mum were impressed and will definitely return.

Excellently cooked and presented food, complemented with highly attentive service, made our evening at House restaurant in Altrincham a very pleasurable experience. The menu is largely based on traditional british dishes but with a twist!! The only mark down is because of a lack of main course choice for 'non-fish' veggies. We were slightly unfortunate to clash with an exuberant hen-party, as the restaurant area has a cosy feel, and Goose Green is Altrincham's pearl.

Friendly service with very nice food. Good crowd on a Friday night and just a nice place generally - my partner liked it better than Francs but there you have it. Homey decor.

The House is in Goose Green which is a lovely part of Altrincham especially on a sunny day. The food was great and very reasonable. It was our anniversary so we had champagne which was also a reasonable price. The menu also had some unusual dishes and there was plenty to choose from. We would definately recommend.(found 10 reviews)
