We had a mini-family reunion this past Sunday at Strada-Spitalfields. We had a lovely server who was very attentive to our table making sure we were taken care of throughout our meal and very accommodating and patient when we played musical chairs so we could talk to one another. The Rigatoni was lovely. Pizza choices were very much enjoyed. Melting chocolate cake-how can you go wrong?! I would recommend Strada. It is for great family style dining and we never felt rushed to leave.

Starda Spitalifields. Good venue for a casual meet up with friends. One critiscism. They tend to pack all diners into one area making it sometimes hard to hear people you are seated with. A little fustrating when the rest of the venue stands empty.

The service was incredibly slow. We waited half an hour to getany attention and then our meals took well over 45 mins to arrive. Not a place to go if in a hurry!

Strada Spitalfields: better than average food for a pizza express-esque chain. Salmon well-cooked and complimented with lentils; chilli pizza gooey and large. Strawberry tart a refreshing end. Service disappointingly unattentive - we were left with food but no forks.

Good, well priced food presented cleanly. Only gripe being that certain dishes can take quite a while to arrive; otherwise recommended for a lunchtime venue.

Strada Spitalfields was lively and good-value, as it has been when we have eaten there before, but unlike before, the service was rather slow and one of the main dishes (vegetarian risotto) was very bland. Admittedly, the manager came out in the end to apologise and offer a free desert, so we left feeling OK about this, and the rest of the food was up to their usual relable standard.

Strada - Commercial St (Spitafields). The food was lovely (love the rosemary bread) as usual, and the service was good in that we didn't have to wait too long for our food. However, we ordered some bread, and within 5 mins of it arriving, 2 more waiters turned up with more bread. They didn't seem to know who had ordered what. The seating was quite tight. When another diner arrived to meet her friends, her backside almost ended up in our bread basket. Waiters dropped food when clearing table

I met mys sister for lunch in Strada at Spitalfields on Tuesday lunchtime. In view of its position the restaurant was full. However, we were quickly seated by Lucciano, the friendly manager. Food was fine, as expected in a chain restaurant.
Eg. italian, Ritz, Benitos, meatballs...
