A second great visit to Shillibeers. Even though they hadn't received our Toptable reservation they still gave us the 25% discount, which makes this restaurant very good value for money. We sat outside this time in their massive beer garden, with beautiful steaks and a beer. Definitely worth visiting!

Good place for lunch. They had ran out of rump steak and replaced it with fillet for the same price! Great value with the toptable deal!!!

It is very difficult to objectively review this place because despite having a confirmed lunch booking for seven people the restaurant was closed and replaced by a fetish fair! While this made for interesting viewing, service was non-existent and we eventually left for somewhere else at great inconvenience as the seven of us had arrived from different places at different times.

Shillibeers is ok for lunch if you are in the area but don't go out of your way to go! Service is the slowest in the world therefore don't expect your food to be warm when it finally makes it your length.

We booked our table for 5pm, the service was very slow and I had to go find the waiter. My wifes fish was not cooked and was replaced but the accompanying paste was cold. My steak was very good so all was not lost. Its a very nice venue so worth a visit and because of our problems they did gave us 50% off the bill.....I would visit Shillibeers again but later in the evening when it gets busier.

On Walking into Shillibeers it seems an Oasis of comfort inside a hostile environment of council and industrial estate. However the dining experience has to be summed up as pub food and service at restaraunt prices. I had to keep on hunting down the one waitress/barmaid to take our order. The stuffed pepper main course was pleasant but nothing special but the brownie pudding was delicous and moist. If they ditch the gastropub pretensions and cut their prices the whole experience would be better

Shillibeers is my local, and I will certainly be making more of an effort to go in future, even without the 25% discount deal - it's a great, open, airy venue (with a large outside area) and the food is very decent, freshly cooked, gastroputb style food - the rump steak comes highly recommended! All the ingredients were good quality and the food was prepared quickly and well. It's definitely good value, especially with the deal, and I am looking forward to trying their sunday lunches next!
