Visited Shikara in Great Tichfield Street on the 21st December and because it was early evening we were the first there. The service was friendly and attentive, and the food was excellent and very reasonable. As we left we were given a free drink and a very nice Christmas card. Would certainly go back.

The staff at Shakara were very welcoming and polite. The meal was very lovely. We did have dinner very early so it was very quiet but that meant there service was absolutely spot on. The paintings certaintly made the restaurant very quaint. A very enjoyable dinner.

The restaurant was pretty quiet for a Saturday night, good for catching up, but I would have preferred it to be a little bit more lively! The food was okay, but I wouldn't rush back.

Shikara is just a good indian restaurant that serves decent indian food. It may not special but it's definately worth a visit.

Shikara is a great restaurant, the food was excellent, being a veggie the Paneer Masala was excellent! My friend had the lamb and she loved its tenderness and rich sauce. Weekdays a little quiet, however the service was excellent for it! Definately will go back again;-)
