Shezan - portions were small, service not too great (breakdown in communication!), food not too tasty (had better at cheaper places), overpriced drinks. The Toptable 50% offer made the meal just about bearable. Also apparently they don't serve tap water!? Overall, I would say look at other Indian restaurants in the area, e.g. near Pimlico station.

Shezan was a beautiful restaurant with extremely friendly and helpful staff. The food was good but I certainly wouldn't have been happy paying the full price after seeing the menu... My main course would have been £13 plus another £3.50 for steamed rice had it not been on the 50% offer.

The Shezan We last dined in this restaurant some 35 years ago, soon after it had opened. When we saw it on the Toptable list we thought we should give it another visit! The decor was as stunning as ever, the staff friendly and helpful. The food was delicious, subtle blends of spices. We would highly recommend this restaurant. The only downside was that for the first hour we were the only clients there. This is sad as it deserves to be busy. Problem may be its situation - off the main road.

Food is good - ate way too much but wish I had waited for the 50% offer to be back on again!

Shezan is hidden away in the back streets of Knightsbridge and is in the basement of a building. It is nicely decorated and the food was very good. I had some of the best paneer I've tasted since my last trip to India. We were with a very large group and the staff were attentive and helpful.

nice food but very old fashioned restaurant with no atmosphere. Nice staff, but not much of a "night out".

Shezan - Limted choide for veggies compared to other indian restaurents. Beautifully decorated but found the waiters very snooty. Could not relax in the place as felt we were always being watched.

Shezan is down in the basement like many Knightsbridge restaurants. The food lacks spice and accompaniments e.g. no sauces for dry foods. Drinks are pricey for concentrated juice out of cartons. Service was super slow. The indian tea had nothing indian in it and was overdone with full fat milk so it formed a skin over. The rice was nice but mostly average. Acceptable price with 50% discount but otherwise spend elsewhere.

The food was very good and not as oily as your usual Indian however the restaurant was let down with it's very poor service. We arrived at 8.30pm yet our order was not taken until 9.30pm. It took us a further 15 minutes to get our bill at the end of the evening. The restaurant has a great atmosphere and fantastic food and i would recommed it however be patient as you will have a long wait for you food.
