Searcy's is a very efficiently run restaurant with good friendly staff. Ideal for a pre concert meal at the Barbican. Modern cooking, which is very well presented. We would definitely go again.

Good food at this Searcy's and great views out over the Barbican lake. A bit lacking in buzz at lunchtime, but a dependable venue for a business lunch.

Searcy's is an extremely convenient place to eat if you are going to an event at the Barbican. The staff are very efficient and obliging. The menu is limited, but adventurous and the food is well prepared from seasonal ingredients.

I booked this restaurant for a business luncheon and was a little anxious as there were no previous reviews. My boss enjoyed the luncheon and the ambiance and said that we would definitely utilize this venue again. I am delighted as it is close to our city offices and I can comfortably rely on it for other business functions.

We went to Searcy's for a work lunch, it is failry hard to find but the food was fantastic and good value for money with the 25% off. The view was very good for a city centre location. It is somewhere we would return again.

Hadn't been to Searcy's in a long time and am remembering why. We felt rushed from the moment we arrived. The waiting staff forgot our side order and we had to tell every waiter there that we preferred to pour our own wine. The menu at £24.50 for 2 courses of only 3 choices each was uninspiring, bony, supposedly filleted mackerel, chicken or veg ravioli for mains. We both had a very ordinary duck parfait to start. Only hot veg available was the mythical spinach Everything came with rocket.

My wife and I went to Searcy's as a treat before seeing Complicite last week. The concrete surroundings filled us with foreboding of avocados and limp salads. This aura was quickly wafted away with quick and neat presentation and an attractive menu. My Wife's gazpacho was pungent and sharp and the duck pate I sampled was fruity and moist. Dissappointment followed though with a tough bream and a standard chicken main. The wine - overpriced and desert chewy. Service timed well to get us seated.
