Dined with friends at Sardo Canale last night. Our table was not ready and we were summarily treated by maitre d' who said others are still at our table...the area around our table was a bit scruffy with crumbs etc on the chairs. The eating area was also very draughty - ok on a summaer's day but not on a mid winter's night. Food was good across the board but at £155 for 4 without wine not cheap. Would not rush back.

Sardo Canale. As ever, Sardo is very good indeed. The Sicilian menu is large and varied. My linguini al granchio was particularly fine. The wine list is excellent with a number of delicious Sicilan wines one would be hard pushed to find anywhere else.

We enjoyed a lovely lunch at Sardo Canale. The food was well presented and very good and I would particularly recommend having the pear for desert.

Ecellent delicious food, slightly expensive but most definitely recommended. Must be glorious in the summer!

We had a late reservation at Sardo Canale on Saturday night and the food and service were both excellent. While it is not the cheapest place, it is also far from overpriced compared with London norms. Would definitely go back.

Very impressive venue, with friendly and well-trained staff. The menu is not extensive although there is plenty of choice, and there are daily specials (including unusual but tasty combinations such as lamb in chocolate sauce!). Recommended for a special night out...

Fantastic atmosphere - we asked for a romantic table and it could not have been better. The service is quite good and most of the staff are italians which is a nice touch. The food was of good quality and we've got served promptly. It is a bit pricey but we had a promotion to celebrate so it was worth the money - had a shared starter plater, 2 mains, 1 desert, 1 bottle of wine, 2 coffees and ended up paying just over £80 which incl the 25% off food discount. Parking in front available!

Sardo Canale not only had fantastic service and a very relaxing and welcoming atmosphere but briliant food too. A perfect combination for a quiet intimate evening.
