We ate at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse on Xmas Eve. Despite having booked we were told there would be a wait of 10 mins which turned out to be 20 mins. Poor attitude from front of house. The waiter advised us to be quick with our order as the kitchen was closing at 9pm - it was now 8:45. It seemed odd as there were still people waiting to be seated. Unsurprisingly orders were still taken after 9pm. Food was OK though very salty and expensive considering the exchange rate. A big let down for Xmas Eve.

Ruth's Chris Steak House - this is an amazing restaurant. It has a lovely atmosphere and stops you feeling like a tourist. I had the filet and it was beautifully tender. Don't order too many sides as the food is deceptively filling. It is quite expensive but worth it.

Ruth's Chris Steak House. Booked for a celebration for my family whilst in New York. The meal was excellent and the service too, the waiterwas very friendly. We all said was the best steakm ever had. Whilst quite pricey, worked out at $100 a head including drinks, was well worth it.

On visiting Ruth's Chris Steakhouse we had a bad start as although our table had been booked for 9pm, it was approminately 10pm when we were seated. Despite the poor start, the food was deliously and the waiter very poliete and helpful. We would return if back in New York
