We went to the Royal Nepalese for dinner & the place was almost empty. lInitially, we were concerned but given the other reviews, we still gave it a go. The service could not be nicer & our waiter was very helpful. (In terms of food, think more in lines of Indian with a few Nepalese dishes on menu.) But food was very tasty, portions generous & we were even invited to an after dinner drink! It was a really nice local place. Hope more people discover it soon!

Royal Nepalese was great. Food was really tasty and full of flavours, especially the white beans with potato, onions and tomato. Waiter was very friendly and kind and gave recommendations and explained about how to eat the meat dumplings my boyfriend had as starter. The only negative thing was that it took quite a while until our starters arrived although there was only one other table occupied. Shame that the restaurant is so tucked away, I hope more people will discover it, I highly recommend!

As we sat down, i overheard a lady say "i'd be pushed not to come here evry day!" 'interesting' i thought.. & i soon understood why!! Every aspect of our dining exp excelled. The Chille chicken & house special 'Mo Mo' was to start and was just delicious. The Royal Chicken (chicken breast wrapped in prawns, slow cooked) which although it takes a while to cook is well worth the wait, simply divine! Owner was so helpful & service was perfect &was good value for money! I'm already planning nxt visit!

Very good food and service. Note for those who don't like onions - tell the waiter as onions may be in even if the menu does not say it

The Royal Nepalese in Battersea High Street is a seriously pleasant surprise. Four of us have just dined there and we all agreed this was one of the best 'Indian type' restaurants we had visited in ages. Fresh and fragrant ingredients, carefully cooked, delicious and truly different. Together with such friendly and excellent service, it made us want to travel to Nepal at once ! But you don't have to go that far, it's in Battersea. Very highly recommened.

We had a lovely evening at the Royal Nepalese. Previous reviews were spot on - fantastic service, delicious and interesting food and top value too. The meatball and prawn starters were awesome. A little hidden away but this is a gem of a find. Book up before everyone finds out about it!
