Pro's: Good food in decent surroundings at a reasonable price with toptable offer. Tasty, contemporary, imaginative indian cuisine. Good choice of meat, fish, veggie dishes. Con's: Desserts are a bit hit and miss and to much on the creamy side, please take more care with the kulfi. The interior could do with some acoustic wall/ceiling panelling to absorb the noise, which is a problem in many restaurants and pubs and we don't like to shout over dinner or a drink.

If you're a little jaded by the standard Indian restaurant experience, head to Rooburoo. All your favourites but with a modern funky twist and absolutely superb quality food - we were blown away by the pops and chutneys and the rest of the meal was divine. Beautiful presentation, great service - yum yum!

I enjoyed the food, the price was not as transparent as it seems. There is an additinal cost if you pick certain items on the menu, you only find this out right at the end. Make sure you ask what the offer is and etc...

our second visit to Rooburo. Service and food were excellent - interesting twist on traditional dishes

I think the older you get the more the ambience, service and company matter and the food no longer takes centre stage. Rooburoo is pleasant enough though lacking in atmosphere. Staff are efficient but lack personality and a genuine desire to please. The food, however, was very good and the Top Table offer could not be faulted for value

Rooburoo served an excellent curry and some unexpected specialties. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Though it was very quiet when we arrived, it started filling up pretty soon. A first-class, and very reasonably priced, venue.

Good restaurant. It was a little quiet when we first arrived but filled up nicely. The staff were friendly and the menu was varied. The starters were great - the Momo's (dumplings) were really good. The main course of Rogan Josh was good, but the lamb shank was a little disappointing (great lamb, disappointing sauce that was bitter and tasted burnt). Dont skip dessert - that was really nice! I would visit again though, and i would recommend.
