Atmosphere is perfect for an intimate supper and the service was relaxed and not rushed. Food is excellent - surprisingly sophisticated for Thornbury and the chef was engaging and interested in our comments. If you choose A La Carte and a good wine, it does get a bit pricey, but the set menu is also good. Perfect for a special occasion or a relaxed and quiet meal with friends. We will defintely be back!

My second visit and I was not disapointed. There were alot more poeple there this time which added to the ambience and the quality or food or service did not suffer. It is still a little expensive for an average night out which may restrict the number of times I can affrod to return but it is well worth the cost.

Ronnie's is a real gem of a place. We had a fabulous meal and the head popping truffles at the end were worth the visit alone!

This restaurant is tucked away in the centre of Thornbury - accessible only on foot, and presents itself very inconspicously, however the menu, service and quality of food are well worth the visit and having visited a number of restaurants from Top Table, outshines them all. A wondrous evening, thanks Ronnies.

First time visit to Ronnie's in Thornbury and would definitely go again. The set price menu was extremely good value and the ambience just right (quite busy for a Weds night out). The a la carte menu looked equally appetising but would probably warrant a special occasion.

Ronnies - We were very impressed when we walked into the building, its full of character and has been tastefully renovated. We were sat down prompty and were very well attended too, service was great, friendly and not over powering. The menu was ample, with not too many options to make things difficult for you and indeed the food was lovely too and very well presented. The ambience was just right, i'd recommend Ronnies to all.

Ronnie's offers excellent value for money with its Market Menu. Three courses for £16.75 and each oone faultless. Locally sourced produce, great service and a stunning setting make Ronnie's the perfect venue for a meal.
